The Founders:

Paris Suksmith

Paris is a 18-year-old student at Eton College, taking A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths, but also with interests in History and Psychology. With STEM, he is passionate about finding ways in which the field of research can interact with other academic spheres but also the ways in which it can be utilised to influence economic policies and such.

On the other hand, he also enjoys looking at the maths behind common day phenomena or analysing tactics in various games through mathematical probabilities. Outside of the classroom, Paris enjoys creative writing and drawing, basketball and music.

Aarit Bhattacharya

Aarit is a 17-year-old student at Eton College with a range of interests in subjects like philosophy, politics and computer science. He seeks to bridge the gap between the liberal arts and STEM as in a rapidly modernising world with ever-growing ethical and political divides, it has never been more important to appreciate the importance of both these areas. His interests include debating, coding, music and entrepreneurship.

For A-Levels he is studying Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science and Physics. He also hopes to study at an American University afterwards.

Zach Marinov

Zach is a 16-year-old student at Eton College who is passionate about math, computer science, and biology. He is studying Math, Further Math, Computer Science, and Chemistry at A-Level, and is also interested in biology and physics. He enjoys learning about and finding connections between different fields of math and science. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys rowing, solving math problems, and coding.

In his free time, he enjoys tennis and playing the piano.

Jakub Biszczanik

Jakub is in his first year of A Levels at Eton College, taking A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. He’s passionate about revolutionary technologies that are going to radically impact the future, such as reusable rockets, artificial intelligence and sustainable energy. He believes that the interplay of engineering and business is crucial in propelling us into the future with these advances.

John Chang

His interests other than journalism include computer programming, debating and tennis.

Cees Armstrong

Cees is a 16-year old student who is very passionate about helping our society progress. In particular, he is fascinated by how our world can diffuse tensions and work together to solve global problems, such as climate change.
